Leather Care Guide
This guide applies to flydigito handbags, tote bags, backpacks, and duffle bags.

Storage

When not in use:

• Store bags in a breathable dust bag or cotton cloth.
• Avoid plastic covers that trap moisture.
• Lightly fill bags with clean paper to maintain their shape.

Natural Characteristics of Leather

  • Leather is a natural material and may show variations in color, grain, or markings. These differences are normal and not considered defects.

  • With regular use, leather may develop a patina, which is part of the natural aging process.

  • Because Flydigito products are hand craft in small batches, slight variations in stitching or tone may also occur.

Cleaning

• Use a soft, slightly damp cloth for light cleaning.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, alcohol-based products, or household cleaners.
• For deeper cleaning, use a leather cleaner suitable for natural leather and follow its instructions.
• Test any cleaner on a small hidden area before full use.

General Care

• Store leather items in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. If leather becomes wet, let it air dry at room temperature.
• Remove dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid overloading bags to help maintain their shape.

Conditioning

Leather may benefit from occasional conditioning.

• Apply a leather conditioner using a clean cloth.
• Let it absorb naturally, then buff lightly.
• Conditioning frequency depends on climate and usage.

What to Avoid

• Do not machine wash or soak leather products.
• Avoid contact with oils, perfumes, or chemical products.
• Do not place leather near heaters or strong heat sources.
